VOLUME TWO

1973 - 1977

 

In the spring of 1973 I left my life in London and returned to Kidderminster,  with a new home and a new job and my wife expecting our first child, Charlotte in the autumn. 

I soon discovered that many things had changed. Not only had the town undergone some serious redevelopment, but the the live music scene had virtually ground to a halt. 

I had always harboured a dream to become a promoter and soon set about bringing the spirit of the 60's back to the town. 

In chapter one we catch up with the lives of some of our local musicians including Andy Silvester, Stan Webb, Robbie Blunt, Jess Roden and Clifford T Ward.

The People and Events section includes a round up of the gigs and some interesting events that were happening.
