In October 1986  local musician Johnny Pasternak sadly collapsed and died and the hastily arranged tribute concert brought together a host of musicians including an impromptu set featuring Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. 

In this chapter we also meet up with a very young Mike Sanchez in his first band, The Rockets before he joined the hugely successful Big Town Playboys. 

The Riverboat and Market Tavern gigs were hugely successful and hosted many of the local groups including those Beastly Boys, Ken Swannel and Barrett Hadley.
