1990 - 1999 

By 1990 I was forty five and although young at heart and still loving music, I was only promoting the occasional gig.

Things however were very different for the younger generation,  Mark Dawson aka 'The Badgeman' promoted an exciting mix of groups at the Market Tavern.

 Karl Hyde from Bewdley became a world player when he co-founded Underworld. Many other local musicians continued their successful careers, Mike Sanchez, Robbie Blunt, Robert Plant, Ian Hatton, Andy Silvester, Stan Webb………..the list goes on.

Meanwhile the people of Kidderminster fought in vain to save it's A&E department at the hospital and venues came and went in an ever changing town.
